April AFQ Meeting
At the April meeting of the Ashtabula Friendly Quilters Holly taught us how to make an easy version of the traditional "delectable mountains" quilt block.
**To obtain your free copy of the block each pattern that Holly demonstrates you must be at the meeting! Any extras may be available at the next meeting at the door, but once they are gone they are gone!
**If you make some of these blocks to practice and donate them, Lois has volunteered to piece together comfort quilts from the donated blocks. The color scheme for donated blocks will be red, white, and blue to ensure everyone's blocks match when sewn together. Valerie has also offered to long arm quilt these comfort quilts to help take the burden off and get these quilts made!
Holly also showed us several possibilities for setting this block.
**Don't forget to bring in your donation practice block next month in the colors of red, white, and blue!!
Here are show and tell pictures in case you missed the meeting:

March AFQ Meeting
